FLAT ROCK AREA LITTLE LEAGUE SIGN-UP INFORMATION

Sign-up days/costs for the Flat Rock Area Little League 2012 season are as follows:

DATE: Saturday, January 21st (EARLY DISCOUNT DAY!!)

TIME: 9:00am - 2:30pm

WHERE: Flat Rock Community Center

COSTS: T-Ball: $35

Coach Pitch: $45

Farmball, Minors & Majors: $65

Juniors & Seniors: $100

DATE: Saturday, February 4th & Saturday, February 18th

WHERE: Flat Rock Community Center

TIME: 9:00am - 12:00pm

COSTS: T-Ball: $40

Coach Pitch: $50

Farmball, Minors & Majors: $70

Juniors & Seniors: $100

There is a $30 volunteer sign-up fee PER FAMILY. This amount is due when you sign-up your child/children. We ask that each player's family volunteer at least 2 hours throughout the season. This can be done by helping at the concession stand, helping work on field maintenance days, help during special events such as: opening day, the golf outing, the year-end picnic, etc. Once your volunteer commitment is satisfied, you will be refunded the $30.

FUNDRAISING: This year we are doing a ticket raffle as the big kickoff fundraiser of the season. Each FAMILY will be responsible for selling 100 raffle tickets. These tickets will be given to you when you register your child/children - and ALL TICKETS AND MONEY WILL BE DUE ON TRYOUT DAY (which is scheduled for Saturday, February 25th). The raffle drawing will be held at the Opening Day Ceremonies (which is scheduled for Saturday, April 28th).

Year-End Fireworks

Flat Rock Area Little League is hosting it's 2nd Annual Year-End Picnic and Fireworks

When: Saturday, June 25 starting at 7 pm, Fireworks at 10:00 pm

Where: Simpson Junior High

Coaches can setup tents or dedicated areas for their teams

FRALL will provide pop/refreshments and popcorn

Volunteers Needed for Field Preparation

Saturday, April 2nd and Saturday, April 16, Simpson Middle School, 9am - 5pm

We are in need of volunteers to help assist in preparing the fields around Simpson Middle School for the upcoming season.

If you are able to help out for any period of time on either Saturday, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, please bring anything you have that could be of use - Rakes, Shovels, etc.

Sport Cups will be ready for pickup on Thursday, March 31st at the Simpson Middle School Parking Lot between 5 and 7 p.m.

The Flat Rock Area Little League is holding a Hitting Club at Simpson Junior High for Girls and Boys in 4th through 7th grade.

Girls Softball is being held on Monday's or Wednesday's.

Boys Baseball is being held on Tuesday's or Thursday's.
